A maturity model is a set of structured levels that describe how well the behaviors, practices and processes of an organization can reliably and sustainably produce required outcomes. A maturity model can be used as a benchmark for comparison and as an aid to understanding and improvement of your function.
The Titan Talent Management Maturity Model is based on a 4 point maturity scale:
- Lagging – lagging industry norms or business needs
- Performing – performing close to norms or needs
- Leading – leading industry norms or needs
- Transforming – disrupting the industry norms or needs
The Maturity Model is then assessed through surveys or workshops based on the following drivers
- Alignment – how the function aligns to the business
- People – how the team is performing to meet business needs
- Process – optimization of processes to achieve goals
- Technology – ability of technology to enable transformation
In our approach to determine an organizations maturity we will typically begin with defining the aforementioned criteria and then facilitating an exercise with key client stakeholders to align current to future state maturity level, identify capabilities most critical to the business strategy, and then identify areas for improvement across the various criteria.

The results demonstrate significant gaps in organization’s perspective of their maturity related to their processes and technology to enable transformation.
